Close To The Birds And Interstate
Stayed to visit the Ladd S Gordon waterfowl preserve on the other side of the interstate. (Far more Sandhill Cranes there than at the famed Bosque del Apache.) It is a very convenient location for bird watchers. Well maintained campground with a cute western theme throughout. 30 and 50 amp full hookups for the RV pull through sites. Has a tent camping area and a horse hotel. Laundry facilities, camp store, and showers in the bathrooms. There were a good number of long term campers there, likely having to do with the construction going on close by, and everyone was friendly. The noise from the interstate was the only real drawback.

Great For Overnight
Easy access, super friendly staff, level gravel sites, greeted by lots of friendly pups. Yes, there's highway noise but isn't there always. Yes, lots of seasonal-full timers but also, ok with that. We're full timers too, we just move alot. Would stay here again. Very reasonable price too.

I am amazed at all the great reviews because I struggle to give it 2 stars. Highway noise is terrible.

Unhappy Camper
Driving from Arizona after Elk hunting in Colorado for a week. Lady said she didn’t have a 50amp spot but had a 30 amp one and I said I’ll take it. Told her I’d be there about 7:30 pm. She said no problem just call again and someone would meet me at the office to give directions. I thought awesome. Especially after the reviews I read about the place. Got there and the guy told me it was a spot with water only. That i could wait for another camper to leave so i could dump black tank. Now it is too late to go somewhere else. Jeez Still didn’t waste my money on them. They did say they had a military discount.

Stayed here last year and it was fine. Cost about $40 for night. This time "$82"!!!! And they didn't bother to tell me until we were nearly there. Will never stay again!! Special event??? Who knows, who cares! This was a Thursday night and a major gouge was attempted on me.

Nice Little Get Away
We decided to give this little park a try and weren’t disappointed. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating, they guided us to our spot and moved us to a bigger one so we would have a little more room. Didn’t even have to ask. Clean laundry and bathhouse, and some minor supplies in the clubhouse. We used PA but regular rates are not horrible. If you are in the area and want to be away from the hustle/bustle this is a great little place.

Beautiful Park Very Friendly And Helpful
Arrived late after an inexpected delay. Although it was after office closing time, the owner met us and escorted us to our space slso helped with hookup and stayed with us until setup was complete..Beautiful, clean spacious park with fantastically friendly and helpful owners and staff. Would highly recommend this park if you are staying in this area overnight or an extended stay.

A Little Disappointed
We called because of the incredible reviews on this website. First of all rates are nothing like report on this site. Way to expensive for the area. We were offered $32,50 per night with our Good Sams discount. They did offer a weekly rate of $250.00!! Ouch!!! We have never paid more than $150.00 for a weekly rate on our tour across the US. Very nice new owners that tried to help us with sites to see, but they stated they did not know much about the area yet. They told us to ask some of the long term people here about things to do. Long termers are very nice and helpful. It is 50 miles to Albuquerque and 28 miles to the nearest town of Los Lomas. I did not use the amenities here but I know laundry facilities were available. Another good is sites are level and hookups are in great working order. They do give you high speed internet free for 24 hours, then if you want to keep it they give you a number to call and pay for it $5.99 per 8hours!!! Great place if you had a horse.

Super friendly staff, very clean (even the dog run area!) and well maintained park. Everything is pull through, quite a bit of space between sites and has trees at every spot. There seems to be a few permanently parked rvs and even a couple of tiny houses. This park is right off of the hwy with super easy access in and out. You will hear the hum of the hwy at night, but other than that it is a veey quiet park. These folks are fairly new owners and have done well in making this rv park quite hospitable.

Great Stay...
Seemingly new owners who are doing some good things. Brand new washers and dryers and s nice bathroom. Level gravel sites (ours was huge) with all kinds of birds around! Conveniently close to highway but noise not an issue unless you’re listening for it. Best part was the people- super friendly at a great cost. WiFi poor but we’re not here to be on our phones!!!

Nice, well graded sights, friendly people, convenient location about 15 miles north of Socorro. Easy access to the Very Large Array (a must see), Magdalena (cool town) the Salinas missions and Cibola National Park. Will definitely grab a card and stay again if passing through.

Called ahead, they were full but gave us the overflow site. Friendly Staff and owner Dave. Got there late and left early so missed the views other reviewers mentioned. Bathrooms clean. Very close to the highway so beware if you do not like traffic noise. Did not bother us. Would definitely stop again if in the area.

Kiva was a good place to stay. We arrived after dark but Dave had given us our spot and directions while we were still on the road. It is right on the interstate but the noise did not bother us. Very nice and helpful staff.

Adequate
Staff is friendly. Sites are level. Lots of freeway noise. Water froze at our site. It looked to be the best park for several miles along I-25.

Delightful Place To Stay
Beautiful view of the mountains, lots of trees in the park, super friendly management, and everything was incredibly clean. Several long-term residents, also very friendly. A nice dog run in the back. And there was a taco truck in front in the morning! This place is a little gem. Highly recommended, definitely hope to return again soon.
