First Come First Served

Full hookup for $35/night. We used the bathroom in the RV, so we can't review the facilities here. I was told over the phone to enter thru the Truman gate but not told that there is no exit off the interstate for Truman. GPS wasn't cooperative. Ok stay.

Bathrooms & Laundry needs renovation

The RV / FamCamp is in a convenient area in Kirtland AFB and close to the COSTCO and near to I-40 in Albuquerque, NM. However the bathroom and laundry room need renovation and repair. Maybe just build a new common area and bathrooms. This is pretty substandard for an Air Force base.

A Nice Location

Being in Kirkland AFB this place was an excellent location for my weekend duty. All the things that one needs for a campsite with pull through sites and full hookup sites. Three stars only because of the heat and lack of shade.

Lots Of Space

Most sites were extremely wide, some with cement pads, some gravel and some dirt. Shade is available only at a few sites. Sites are not reservable. Best gate to get to the Fam Camp is off Eubank, BUT the base requires one to drive thru "an obstacle course" after ID card check - be very careful. At Eubank gate the guards may have to pull up some of the pipes especially for big rigs.

Easy Access

Very wide pull -thru sites. Enough space for class A plus car on dolly and chase vehicle. Sites are gravel, but fairly level. Not much shade. Although wi-fi was nonexistent, it was a good place to stay.
