Northern NM Camping At Its Finest
This campground is my favorite place to stay in New Mexico. The Army Corps Of Engineers always has great campgrounds, but the spectacular views make this one even better. Campsites are well spaced with each having its own view of the lake. Stayed at a site with electricity and water hookups. The bathrooms have showers and the dump station is in a convenient location. The only negative things about the place is the VERY bright light over the host site. It ruins one’s night vision for star gazing. Hoping that they join the dark sky parks program, because this would be a spectacular place for it!

Nice, Nice, Nice
In my experience it's hard to beat COE campgrounds and with a Senior Pass they're dirt cheap. Riana is GREAT!! A great variety of site types. I preferred the sites with water and electric hookups. Spectacular views. Spacious, mostly level campsites, nice bathroom facilities with hot showers. Some vault toilets as well that are well maintained. The campground hosts are about as good as they get. Lake is nice, but water levels are low. Many nice hiking trails. Good cell service. No OTA TV stations. One of my favorite places.

Amazing Views, Quiet, Well-kept
I loved this campground. Beautiful views, sites with lots of space betwen neighbors and well laid-out, elec and water hookups available at some sites, dump, and trails. So quiet and peaceful!! Super friendly hosts and very clean place. Only one small irritation was that water at my site had low pressure, but it was clean and potable so no complaints really. Easy drive in. Will return!

Low Lake
We have camped here for the last 15 year and it was a good place to go but with the city of Albuquerque taking so much of the water out of the lake it is ruining the boating and fishing.

A Beautiful Location
This is just beautiful. Georgia O'Keefe style scenery everywhere including Cerro Pederal and the lake. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Many of the sites are not level: fore and aft and/or side to side. So bring your leveling blocks. A calm day here is breezy from the W or SW, so pick a site such that your grill is sheltered if that is important. The showers we're reasonably clean, but need to be updated. We stayed 6 nights in our 25' trailer. As with most years, we will be back again.
