Visited Site
Was visiting the area and stopped in and talked with campers thought I’d put in a review. Full hook ups-they are open all year but water turned off for winter late October.
Columbus Day weekend the area is a zoo with people hiking and watching fall colors. You do get a wrist band for access to the lake, which looked nice.

Parking Lot Campground
The sites are seven asphalt extensions off a parking lot for Echo Lake. We were in NH for fall color and it rained much of the time. Few cars ever used the parking lot so it was great. I have no idea what it would be like in the summer.

Small 7 spot back-in campground as part of parking area of Echo Lake Beach. Three way hookup at each site, fire ring and picnic table. Spots are narrow and typically won't allow for awning to deploy. But the campground itself is not why you are here. You do have swimming, and boat rental at Echo Lake but will really enjoy this spot as a base for adventuring around Franconia Notch and My Washington area. Flume and Basin are within 10-15 minute drive, Santa's Village about half hour, and Mt Washington about 1-1/2 hours driving. Lots of nearby hiking, climbing, and stuff for kids. Kind of odd having the campground attached to the big parking lot but after the beach closes the whole place is yours. Would have given five but no bathhouse and narrow parking. Spaces will fit large travel trailers, fifth wheel and larger RVs.
