Great Park
Just stayed there for a few days with my family. We stayed after a holiday weekend, so it was quiet but still travelers and a few seasonal people around. Sites were nice size and level. All sites had gravel area with a picnic table and fire ring. Plenty of things to do in the campground. There is a pool, two play grounds, jumping pad, and golf cart drive in theater. The little store was stocked with essentials. They had Golf carts to rent. Staff was friendly. Hampton beach is not too far for a beach day. I'm sure we will visit again.

Open But Not Really...
Checked in this week and while the campground is technically open, the store never did open, there is seldom somebody at the office and the campground seems to be a ghost town. This place could be an AMAZING campground if the seasonal campers were made to keep their sites clean and the campground staff paid a little attention to park maintenance. This place is a diamond in the rough with emphasis on rough. We pay for full hookup with cable, yet none of the 3 coax cables at our site yielded any tv. The potential for this place is huge and to be fair maybe its because its end of the season, but for the money I dont think I will return unless it improves.

#mcneelsgreatadventure
As we have been traveling around looking for fall foliage this was a beautiful stop. It is off the beaten path. Good campsites. In the future i would request a site along the creek. The amenities are all older and needs TLC but everyone seem to be working hard on different things. Playground wad old and outdated jumping pad and pool closed for season. Looks like they are putting in restaurant for next year. All in all it wad quite and beautiful just needs some work.
