They think they are 5 star, but not even a 1. That's being kind. Full of goat heads( puncture weeds). Very controlling park, expect for the speeding of unconincideret RV ers. Maintenance does very little to element weeds in sites. Management walking around with gun on hip acting like he is god. i did not feel like I was being protected but was trying to intimidate who ever disagreed with him.

Dumpy
The lady that checked us in was wonderful but that’s where it ended! Full timers that were junky and the place was unkempt! it was very noisy at night with motorcycles in and out! Never again!

No. Just No
Typically when we are only stopping for a night we are not too picky! When we arrived I have to say the young woman who checked us in was great! From there it is downhill. All gravel, no shade, many full time trailers that are frankly dumps, packed in like sardines - literally slide outs almost touch! One small “grassy” area for dogs. Fences falling down and overall just a sorry broken down place. Even for one night it was tough because you had to hole up in your rig as there was no outside space! Find a Walmart!

Over Night Stay
Traveling West to East from the Bay Area this was a great spot to spend the night. The staff was great. They were professional in their communications, helpful in sharing the the town layout. Quiet and clean.

Ok For Overnight
Old park, packed in like sardines. The only grass is around the perimeter of the park.
A lot of long term residents.

The sites are close, but they did have grass to walk your dog. It was clean. Ok for overnighter.

Great Stop Over
July is hot in Nevada. I was very pleased with the amenities. Because of Covid that showers was off limits. We used our stuff. There was a very inviting pool to cool off from a long day on the road. The people in the office were great and helpful.

Was Worried From Other Reviews.
It’s in Nevada. It’s hot, lots of gravel. But it has some trees. Wi-Fi was good. The staff was nice to me. They are a little close together but I’ve seen a lot worse. It’s a perfect overnighter. Glad I gave it a chance

Joke/Dump
First everyone is so close you can walk between RVs awning to awning set up every two sites and you can even open them your that close
Nest it’s a dump and a dust bowl when someone drives by everything about this place is a lie
Good Sam rate is 9 9 9 yeah right can’t believe they put their name on this place
Power kept going out all afternoon into the night
Guy running around is very rude also
Do not waste your time staying here
Also we should of known something was up when they said we don’t supply toilet paper for bathrooms
Avoid this place even pics are false

This park hijacked me from New Frontier's web booking page. Unacceptable!
Other than that, it is gravel with hook ups. Facilities are old, but clean. They also have some RV repair items in their store which they drastically mark up and then offer you a 50% discount.
I won't come here again.
Be aware that they are redirecting web bookings off of New Frontier's site onto their own.

It's The Desert
Nice folks have spent time and money on this park since our last stay 2 years ago. Fresh gravel everywhere, nice pool. We will stay here again.

Everything was good, it is in desert so yes it's gravel lots.
My spot was very tight. Would stay again.

The entire town was full up for various events. The manager lets us camp on the unused putting green next to the pool for 20 bucks. Turned out to be a great shot.

We were driving and didn’t have a set plan. I found Winnemucca RV Park on Park Adviser and they had any opening. They were extremely friendly. The place was very clean. Every site had a picnic table and full hookups. The WiFi was good too!

Enjoyed Our Stay
Many older larger trees for shade, we did drive through new frontier it was really open, Gravel sites, no shade, as all the trees are new and still growing but it is a nice facility.
KOA, would not stay there, rundown weeds growing, it needs a lot of work, there are some shade trees.
Staying Monday night not overcrowded plenty of room, wind, this must be usual. In my opinion this is the best place to stay if you're at Winnemucca,at least this time of the year

Clean And Easy Access
We traveled through with an extremely long RV pulling a long trailer and lived the pull thru sites. Level, clean easy hookup. Definitely would return.

Terribly Wrong
This RV Park is using another's web site. Say they are a new park and $19 a night sites. This place is a terrible park with buddy sites no space between you by the hookups and share an pick nick area with you other neighbor. Go to the one down the street on the other side with a casino. It is the new park.

Very friendly clean organized and we'll priced. Love it

Not the fanciest place in the world , but for what you get you can't beat the price. The KOA is practically next door and charges a lot more money for a little more fluff.
