To call the swimming pool
a pool is an exaggeration. It's more like a hot tub and a cool tub. But that's not the attraction here. The attraction is the grass and the trees, and the large space between the sites.

Fine For Short Stay
Nice looking park, but has a good bit of long-term tenants. Good location and close sites. May be as good as the KOA down the street.

TOP NOTCH
This was a swanky upgrade for us, considering it was just another overnight stay for us! Definitely planning a return to the Elko area.

Highly Convenient
Great reservation website. Well managed park attracting respectable RVers. Park is down hill from freeway, but still get some noise. Highly recommended.

Best Park In northern NV
This is probably the nicest RV park in northern Nevada. Super clean, well maintained, large spots, very nice clubhouse. Fills up so it would be wise to make a reservation ahead of time. Pool is small but you’re able to use the adjacent hotel’s pool. Close to restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores.

Nicest Around
Very nice park in Elko, NV. Most things were open despite Covid. Pool is tiny, but the hot tub is OK. Laundry is very affordable. Nice showers. We got the deluxe back-in, but should have got the standard along the south border, maybe less shade but better view of Ruby Mountains, and save $5/night.
In the terms & conditions you acknowledge they don't provide WiFi, but they give the SID & password in the site map, and it works well when not congested. Elko seems thriving.

Completely Adequate
No frills, clean, nice laundry, shower, bar and casino, I think food, but you know...covid I stayed away, 50 amp service in one of their smaller spaces (no BBQ or picnic, but other sites had both) $35. Just a stop. Good wifi

The navigation is off a little. Park is NOT located on the service road. Turn on iron horse road and go down the hill. Nice park, but a little close if you and your neighbor have slides. Good for a night.

Good Stop
Pulled in late and was able to find our site easily as it was labeled for us. We were woken up at 7am by the sound of a weed eater. That cause us to get up several hours earlier than we wanted. We then watched as the grounds crew continued to clear weeds and then spray herbicide all around our trailer to include our drinking hose. The amenities are extremely nice and the price is right. The grounds crew could focus on the noise making later in the day and spray where people are not parked at.

Great Location
This is a well run, organized, efficient, clean and friendly campground. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area. I never used the facilities but if the exterior and office area is an indication, I am sure they would be equally great!

Nice clean park with level sites. Sites were spacious. Staff were very nice and helpful. Grassy areas between RV’s was nice. Only complaint is the dog park had no bench for people to sit on. No trees or brush so male dogs peed on vinyl fence and left quite an odor behind!

Nice park, but DON'T DRINK ELKO WATER. It gave me the runs.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. We were here for 3 nights as we were sightseeing Elko area. Great staff. Very, very clean facilities all the way around. Did not hear any of the train noise as our a/c drowned out all the noise. My only disappointment was the swimming pool and hot tub...very tiny. Highly recommend Iron Horse RV!!

Retired First Time Rv’r
Very clean and neat. Nice grassy area by rv. Well maintained. Clean bathrooms and showers. Friendly staff. Some train noise but otherwise very quiet rv park. Would definitely stay again.

Very Well Maintained
Very nice campground, well maintained. Sites are gravel with a fair amount of grass between most of them. The spots are not too tight but we noticed that there are very few that are flat - most have a bit of a slant to them but still not a huge problem. Cable TV is good but wifi is unreliable. A bit disappointed that they don’t have a place to dump our recycling. We found the price a bit steep but we also looked at the other campgrounds in town and this seems to be the nicest.

Great Place
First time RVer traveling from
Sacramento to Chicago as a
relocation and happened to come across Iron Horse RV resort and we were glad we did! The facility was very clean and the person that helped us was extremely nice. I highly recommend a stay when you come through Elko NV.

A beautifully kept lot, lots of well kept grass and very nicely maintained property. Did not try the facilities or the wifi, but the facilities look very clean. I recommend no doubt !

Very Quiet & Clean
Nice park with neighborhood vibe. Clean restrooms, big laundry facilities. It even has sidewalks. There seem to be many permanent residents here.

Not Bad
Gravel sites. Couldn't level on the first one, but no problem switching. Not too crowded.

Great Place.
Ultra clean and appealing. Nice showers. Train barely audible and whistle distant and not disturbing . Shopping and food stores nearby. I would plan to stay here again. Shares amenities with neighboring Hilton Garden Inn.

Very Clean
We stayed here for work one night. It was very clean and very pleasant. The grounds were well taken care of and I didn't feel like we were on top of our neighbors. The train woke us a few times and was a little loud be we were used to this because we have one close to our old house. You get used to it.

Nice facility, swimming pool is at the Hilton about 1/2 a mile from the facility, very clean. But site had two saunas, one cool and the other hot. Laundry on site.
