Small And Quiet
We stayed here July 1st through the 4th. We have a 42 foot camper and it fit just fine (even though it says Max. 40 ft.). It is SUPER QUIET. It’s a no-wake lake, so don’t plan to take a boat or jet ski....kayaking, trolling motors, paddle boats....that’s about it. There are only about 4 or 5 50 amp hook-ups, and they’re the farthest from the water. We parked at one next to a wooded area.....BIG MISTAKE! By Tuesday night, I was so chigger and mosquito bit, the itching was driving me insane!!!!! There’s a nice beach area with a playground area just off the beach. This was our first time here, and while it’s nice since you don’t have to have a park permit to camp here, it’s just not my “cup of tea”. I prefer a larger lake with boats and more noise during the day.
