The park is well-kept and a sprawler (like many) - take advantage of your map and ask lots of questions at the big resource center if you’re not from around here. There’s a lot to do but it’s hard to find info on their website and the day-use station doesn’t have a lot of info about their campsites. We really enjoyed the bird-watching class (free), archery ($5 each) and the lure-making class (small fee) with our kids. Lots of little hiking trails, fishing pond and some fishing along the Missouri. No swimming unless you pay to use their pool (very nice, but very expensive - adults have to pay to enter even if they don’t swim). Pay showers at camp areas. Overall we enjoyed the park but probably wouldn’t return because of the expense and remoteness. We’ve stayed at state parks across the nation and this wasn’t our favor
