We stayed here in October. Only 2 other campers the entire time we were here. it was a beautiful place to enjoy the nature and quietness. There is a railroad by but nothing too crazy loud. The stickers were not fun but we enjoyed the campground and we did our good deeds as we always do around state parks and pick up litter. Not everyone listens to no trace we’ve learned camphosting for 4 years so it’s not a big deal to us. We did go to beach 11 to enjoy the sand and water in a different area. I love campgrounds that aren’t crowded and this was it! For a state park it was pretty normal for price $12 for daily pass and $30 (off season) price. First come first serve in off season too.

Overnight Spot
We chose to stop here on a cross country road trip because it had showers. Yuck. And you have to buy tokens for an old, dirty nasty shower after paying for a hookup and additional out of state permit for $12. Restrooms weren't much better, flush toilets with lots of TP on the floor. No one listened to the sign saying to please not throw TP on the floor. The campground itself was dirty with pieces of litter everywhere and food on the ground. Walking in the grass was impossible because of very sharp little hitchhiker seeds everywhere. The lake was pretty to look at, and there was a camper on the waterside. Train horns close by. Probably will never stop again.
