Not Great

The sites are on the larger side, but they are not taken care of by the state. Trash left on the site. The shower house is old and dark interior and only one temperature for the water. I have paid less at a private campground and gotten better services. We won’t be back. It appears that only the bare minimal is done to keep it open.

Nice Park

Park is off the main highway 6 miles or so but reasonably well marked if you have an idea where it's at or GPS is guiding. Reasonable size sites and typical restrooms. Sites are around 6 lakes but no swimming. Historic fort is mile away and town is 7 miles. Archway museum is worth several hours to visit. Nice stop for 2-4 days.

Sandhill Crane Viewing

Great little state park with bridge for viewing the Sandhill Cranes. Check online for dates of their migration.... it is a long walk but worth it!

Nice Stop

Driving through and stoped for the night. Nice large camp sites, large shade trees and quiet. No pull through sites. $25 for Electric only plus $8 for the park pass. $33 for the night. Good place to stop 10 mins off of 80.

Beautiful, right on the lake, lots of room around us, very clean, quiet and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

A Little Piece Of Heaven

This is a wonderful park. Our neighbors were a little loud until about 10:30 PM but the park itself was beautiful. Nice little lakes, trails, and bikes you could borrow at no cost. We really enjoyed our time there despite the 95 degree heat.
