Great Spot
If you don't like trains but love highway noise stay on I 80, really people trains don't bother me.
Nice spot to camp for considerably less than Rv parks and no there are not any amenities, just good old fasioned camping. Would come here again.
Takes donations!

Nice little camp ground
A very nice little campground. Well, maintained Lake with swimming area. Very big spaces for campers and large rigs. Pit toilets. Generator friendly until 10 PM.
Open year round. Campground hulls until October 1st.
You can hear trains Go by at night.

HaRVey's Mom
We arrived after dark but found a nice spot near the lake, far enough from the road that the train was a distant reminder. Amazed that the site still operates on a donations basis but Is well maintained. The pit toilets are clean and don't smell that bad. Camp host did her rounds at 7 AM to keep track of usage. Rating is relative to price.

15 mins then horn. All day and night. Otherwise a great boondocker. They ask for donations but there are not services but a toilet not even trash.

Large Open Sites Great For Large Unit
Really didn't notice the trains. This is much nicer for an overnight than truck stop or Walmart. Sites are open so easy to park a large unit, we are 75' and had no issue. For the price this is a great spot (free donation).

Rustic, rough roads. Day use area for fishing. Very few campers here. Some nice sites along the river. Put-ins for boats. Good for overnight. Price is right.
