Unexpected Delight

We found ourselves with no place to stay at about 6pm in nearly 100 degree heat. Happened upon this park. Very welcoming staff had a space for us. Good value at $28. Best part was being on a paved trail that runs several miles along the Republican River. Beautiful walking!

Nice Little Camp...

Owners were very nice. We called an hour out for a spot and had no issues. Spots had full hook ups including cable tv. We didn't have a cable to hook in and the owner offered to look for one so we could watch tv. The sites are on soft gravel and pretty level with grass all around. We drove through grass to get to our spot- not sure what would happen if it poured and got muddy? We arrived on a Saturday around 6pm and took a walk to get something to eat but the town was closed- literally NOTHING was open. It looked like a ghost town on a Saturday evening. Campsite was good though. Can't beat it for $25!!

Nice city park. Full of locals. Few spots. Very tight. Nice town and friendly folks. Would stay at COE down the road if there again.
