Not Me
It says 5.5 miles in. Rough road. I drove 2 miles and then turned around and then 2 miles out. No thanks.

Rocky Horror Show
I give it two stars because the owner was nice enough to only charges for one night instead of two decided not to stay a second night. We have a 30 ft class A that did not take well to the road to get to the resort. Although on the website it does say to take a particular service road that service road is just as poorly maintained by park services. It actually took us 45 minutes to do the drive of 5.6 MI. Owner said it was a small price to pay for nature, I don't think putting that much stress on all of the components in your RV is worth the money. If you have a car great no problem but any type of motorhome I don't recommend.

If you are looking for a place where you plan on not leaving outside the campground, then this is a good place. You can bring your boat or rent one. Don't plan on it for a base camp to visit the sites as the 5.6 miles of Madison Arms Road will beat your camper and car to death. Took 35 minutes in our motorhome. We ended up canceling two nights and just stayed one night. Campground was pretty and our site was wide with a wood deck. Trees too close to the roads and hit our motorhome. Better suited for smaller campers. We have a 34 ft class A.

Hidden Jewel
We were there when it was not crowded so we thought it was great! Peaceful. Nice views. The road to it is a beast but once you get there, you realize it’s not so bad. We stayed 2 days. Prices what you expect around Yellowstone.

Great Get Away
A little pricey at $50 one night and $65 for "choice spot" another, but paid $35 in Yellowstone for a picnic table and fire pit. This place had full hookups, showers, boat rentals, yada yada....yes the road is washboard forest service road for 5 miles. Guess I'm not as picky as some RVers. Lots of geese, pelicans and bald eagle! Staff is great and gave me choice of seven sites.

Terrible!! If I could rate 0 stars...
18 min on gravel road to reach cramped RV park. Couldn’t see doing that 8 more times during our stay (4 nights) Extremely small site and not even able to open our awning- never mind slide outs. Mosquito infested even in the hot afternoon! Can only imagine how bad it would get after the sun went down. We didn’t stay. Got our money back and left.

Great views of mountains and the lake. Rough road but worth the ride for the solitude. Spaces are tough to get into with big rig. Pricey but it’s the West Yellowstone area.

Disappointed, Smelly Water
We stayed here for a couple of night because everywhere near west Yellowstone was booked. Well the water that you shower with and connect your trailers to smells! Like iron and the restrooms smell like sewer. The make owner mentions he changes the prices on things whenever he wants. Which is not right. There isn't a good place to fish without being worried you're gonna get stuck with a hook. The owner came to complain to us and our neighbors about being too noisy when we weren't even speaking loudly. And the other side of the park had a party going on.The only good thing about this is that the views are great, mind you everywhere in Montana is great. NEVER AGAIN!! Waste of money. Oh and the road to go in there is HORRIBLE!!

We just stayed here for 8 days thru the 4th of July weekend. Yeah the road is bumpy, but it's really a peaceful setting. I pull a 24 ft trailer and my son has a 36 ft motor home. We will go back if we ever go to Yellowstone again. Full hookups plus clean shower and restroom facilities.

Disappointed
Long, long ride on a very bad road in. Cancelled my second night due to concerns with road and dust. Nice lake with rentals & swimming area. Sites are just OK. If you put your vehicle through getting here it makes sense to tuck in for a few days.

Hidden Gem
Loved this place, it is off the main tourist spot, which is so nice. Yes the road is 5 miles of gravel and bumps, but so worth it. Place is super clean and super friendly staff. Full hook up.
