Beautiful Dry Campsite
We stayed here 12 days in June 2019 and listened to the water flowing down river. Watched rafters floating and ravens landing in trees. The road is gravel and some pot holes but a we made it in a class C. Lots of tenters stayed near the pit toilet and boat ramp. Van dwellers and cars stayed here. Garbage dumpsters are at the entry. The rec area is on the right after leaving Tom Miner paved road just cross over the cattle gap. If you go past it then there is a single lane 6 ton limit bridge. Thats the PROs so now the CONs. The the boat ramp is used from morning till night 7 days a week in June to launch flat boats for fishermen and pick up rafters. Then the boater come back hitching a ride to get their empty trailer to pick up their boat s couple mile down river. They go a little fast dusting you a little on dry days and cause larger potholes on wet days. Fly fishermen walk thru your camp along the high bluff waters edge alot. Some people let there dogs run around with no lease.
