Wow
What a site!! Kintla Creek and Kintla Lake were beautiful, clear water bodies that left me breathless. Many sites were just along the creek. The drive is long over gravel, some parts pretty bumpy, but still accessible. Bathrooms were clean and even stocked with toilet paper! Judging by the night I spent there, seems to attract a quieter crowd. One con is that besides the tall larch and pines, it's pretty open with little privacy between sites. The remoteness of the entire grounds makes up for that though. Tall ring fire pits without grates for cooking so you'll have to get creative if you brought a pot of food or water to boil. Mosquitoes were only midly bothersome this night and left quickly after we started our fire.

Mosquitos!
This is way out there, so bring everything you need. Lyle is an amazing ranger. Beautiful lake. Mosquitos were very thick here.
