GNP is one of the top 5 NPs in our opinion but So far may be the poorest campground in the west side. We live nearby and have watched it get crazier and more aggressive every year. People actually get rude sometimes in the mornings knocking on your door and asking if you are leaving. We never even try anymore near holidays. Even early in the day, unless you are tent camping or have a very small RV, you will circle the loops looking for someone to vacate a spot you'll fit in. Sites are pretty close together. Generator hours are restrictive. No filling of water tanks from any of the scattered hose bibs. Not fun anymore. Many more choices on the east side. If you want to stay on the west side in an RV, I suggest you try one of several private parks near outside the gate.
