Great camp Hosts

Several campgrounds near Big Sky, but this one has great camp hosts! Helpful in all ways and they keep the latrines as clean as you can for pit toilets and I saw them cleaning up trash and ashes as soon as a camper would leave the site. Half the sites have electricity and the water and trash are only at the entry. Nice by the river-but the busy highway to Yellowstone is right on the other side of the river. All nice sites for our cab-over that’s not too large, but many larger outfits fit in as well. One of the nicer Rustic National Forest Camps. Rustic because no showers and pit toilets

Great Scenery/Price

Solid campsite for $20/night. Wish it would have been a little closer to Yellowstone (about a 40 min drive) but it was scenic and right on the river. Included electric, and the trees separating each site provided good privacy. Cons: no showers, and no cell phone service whatsoever.

Beautiful

Stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the peace and quiet. No cell service at all (none!) here so that can be good or bad. Electric only sites with a water fill hose by trash dumpsters. Vault toilets really stinky. No dump station. Ok for $20 a night. Host sells firewood for $6 a bundle.
