Great Spot To Camp

Some sites are very big. We had 3 campers pulled into one site. Close to the river put in point. Lots of action on Saturday morning, but, the boat ramp is separate from the campgrounds. Ozark Trail crosses through the area. Trail was pretty overgrown. Greer Spring trail is only 1.5 miles away. Beautiful sight. Camp host, Gabe was the best. Had maps and local intel on what to do and where to go.

Good Spacious Campsites

I only camp there for hunting in late October. Generally the campground is empty, water and vault toilets. Water is only located next to vault toilets and may be on depending on freeze. It is right next to the launch for the Eleven Points River. Short drive to Alton for gas and groceries.
