Great Campground...
Great campgrounds. The upper campground is full hook-ups and the lower campground has water and electric. It's also lake front but floods a lot so the dry camping area is usually muddy if it's open.

Great Spot!
We stayed at the lower campground (at the end of the road). Site 29 was right on the water, very level and peaceful. We were impressed by how clean and well maintained the park is, quite a contrast to the Corp of Engineers parks on Lavon Lake near us in Texas. There’s a new paved trail that looks like it would be awesome! We have a 22’ van and had zero issues with the roads or site size. We also looked at Redman Creek and preferred Peoples Creek.

Great park been going here since a kid and will definitely be back. Great marina right by the park if water is your thing and lots of good eats within 15 min or so such a pretty area

Almost didn’t go hear because of a review that makes it sound like its hard to get in and out of here. Well we went. It’s not any worse than a roundabout at 2 am on a Sunday.
THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL!

Too Steep
Steep drive with narrow back in sites and an exit steep downhill with a sharp right hand turn that is not for the faint of heart. Yikes!!! Now let’s discuss the roads to access this park....AARRGGHHH!!! No shoulder, drop offs, so narrow that an approaching vehicle makes for a waiting to exhale moment. Will we return? Hmm, let me think....NO

Very pretty park right on lake wappapello. Several first come first serve sites right on water next to boat anchor area. As usual with a corp park facilities are tip notch and super clean
