We reserved 1 day before since we were just passing through. Wooded and quiet and not too crowded. Spent an hour at Mark Twain shrine just up the road a couple miles. Worth seeing and no charge.

Loved It
Quiet. Private. Great hiking trails. Lots of historical sites nearby. A beach within driving distance. Bathrooms were as clean as any other state park. We were in Badger loop and it was perfect.
Another beautiful Missouri State Park. Wow! Missouri knows how to nail IT! Everything is exactly how you would want it for an RV. Each site is spacious and private. Lots of trees. Love Missouri! We are coming back.

Nice Campground
Nice campground. Spaces were very spacious, lots of trees. Sites were electric only, although there were water taps where are you could fill your tanks. The dump station was on the way out. Showers were OK.
We had to look for a level site for our motor home.
Campground hosts were very nice. Not too many people were there early in the week, although there were several reservations for the coming weekend.
With a senior citizen discount, we paid $19 per night.

Great Place To Relax
Very nice park. Good for hiking, riding bikes and very clean shower houses.
