quietly, a favorite campground
I love Crabtree Cove. I have come back and camped it every year like my lake camp place away from home.
Be aware of the rocky bluffs on the A loop. Those rock bluffs are crawling with Timber rattlesnakes and Copperheads. The campsites along the bluff should be avoided.
The B loop has a very good beach to launch small catamaran sailboats. That's my Prindle 18 in the pics.
The B loop is non-electric and quiet. no generators blaring. non-electric.
Mosquitos, chiggers and ticks are not a problem. This is a good campground for swimming and kids biking around.

My husband and I stayed here and had a wonderful time. The park was clean and the view was awesome. The wild life was a joy to watch. The staff very helpful. We will stay here again.
