Overnight Stop
If you are looking for a spacious country setting- this is not for you. This park is located in the city limits of St Joseph. RVs are parked about 10 ft from each other- crammed in like sardines. But, we were tired and need to stop for the night- they had full hookups, $39.00 a night, availability, very friendly and helpful staff, etc. I’m giving 4 stars because we weren’t expecting a camp like setting. This was not our vacation destination. It gave us everything we need for a quick overnight stop.

One of the worst parks we have stayed in. The people are nice and extremely helpful, but the owners could take more pride in their park. It is nasty, crowded with permanent residents that are disrespectful to anyone else staying in the park, there is no place to walk your dog, and you better have good shoes on when you walk around outside because the ground is clotted up ridiculously, when it rains make sure you do not have good shoes on because your feet will get clogged up with thick mud that almost will not come off. I do not recommend this park at all. Staying at this park made me nervous and my pistol was always at my side

Ok, But Not The Best
Not very high quality but worked for one night. Lots of permanent campers.

Crowded With Permanent Residents
Not a tourist campground. We drove through as the campground road connected two busy streets. No privacy or security.

Good Stay
We arrived after 9 pm. I called shortly after 9 to ask for rates and availability. I told him we were as much as 45 minutes out as he put our name down and said he would wait for us. And he did!
He was very friendly and for us set up.
The camp ground was quiet even though there are a number of permanent residents there. There are two restrooms that have a shower in them as a small but nice as reasonable laundry room. Good place to stay for a day or two and close to the interstate.
We would stay here again.
We pull a 35' camper with a slide.

Nice friendly staff. Checked in and was guided to our site. 50 amp was bad so had to move which was not a problem. Nice room between sites with good hookups. Now on the negative side, road is narrow and cars are parked on both sides. Was thankful to get a spot on the way south. Would stay again if in a pinch

Passing through St. Joseph
We were on our way West and stopped for the night. The campground hostess was very nice and guided uuus to our site and help us park. Hookups were easy and there is no campground cable TV. The WiFi is essentially useless so we were left using our Verizon 4G but that is what I bought it for anyway. The site (ours was 39) is very level and the utilities are near the back corner of the pad. There are some shade trees nearby but the local heat index for the day was +100 so shade didn't help much. The campground is adequate for our needs and I would use it again if we were in a similar situation the next time.
