Great Place
We stayed 2 nights, lots of trees, grass, and right on the Katy Trail. Only 2 others rvs were there. Facilities are a bit dated and the hookups are a bit challenging but certainly managable. Self serve pay station at rhe gray building at the entrance.

Ok Campground. Needs Attention
Spent a week here in Early Oct. we had reservations for 2 months as we (4 campers) planned to ride the Katy trail
Got to the campground and two of our 4 sites were occupied. Ugg. Took several hours and phone calls to clear them out
Warning. Utilities are shared between sites. All odd numbered sites have the water and electric on the proper side. All even numbered sites you better have an electric extension and 50-75’ of hose
Tree roots all over the place. Some sites are very close together and with trees you may not be able to extend the awning.
It appeared nothing had been mowed for weeks. Sites had tall grass and lots of leaves. Owner was mowing along the driveway but not the sites. Chiggers we’re having a hey day.
As others have said it is hard to find. Signage is very poor. Even once you find it the sites are way off the road. Make sure you come from New Franklin not Booneville.
With a little attention this could be a great campground. As it is it’s just a fair campground

One Night Stop
Quiet place served our needs. Long spots. A bit hard to find. Be careful of the entrance if you have a long rig. Very laid back spot. 15 min off 70 but entrance literally crosses Katy trail. Beautiful stars as its away from City lights

Katy Roundhouse Campground
We really enjoyed it! 50 amp full hook up site RIGHT ON Katy Trail! If you enjoy bike riding or like a nice place to jog this is perfect! Only complaint: tree roots was above ground but we put our table over them and was fine.
We was there in August and had the place almost to ourselves!
For people who like Casinos there is a VERY short drive to the one- less than 5 miles?
Far enough off of I-70 you dont hear any noise plus a winery just about 9 miles away that is really relaxing.
Drive thru the small town to get to campground or your nav app will take you the back way on a county GRAVEL road.
We stayed a whole weekend and used Katy Trail and had a great time.

This Place Was A Dump
Bugs were horrible, the worst park we have ever stayed at
