Good Overnight
Stayed overnight as an in route stop
Lots of trees, but some noise from interstate. Still slept well. Had problems with the electrical staying on but they came right over to help. This is a work in progress campground where they are working on the new electrical, resurfacing the swimming pool, and keeping it well trimmed and mowed. Itโs actually Hickory Ridge Campground. Good dog park and some full time residents here. We used only electric and water.

New Name And Owners
This park was renamed Hickory Ridge 8 mos ago. New owners are friendly and have several updates planned, including the bath house. Common grounds are well kept. Some sites better than others. Many seasonals but all seem newer. Some road noise but quiet at night. Nice dog run, pool, and shop. Could not connect to WiFi but cell service good. $39 for 30 amp full hookups.

Cozy little RV park, staff was very friendly and easy to work with as we were getting in later than office hours. Very quite and exactly what we needed for a great nights sleep after a long day of crazy traffic. Highly recommended!

Love It!
Awesome staff, unique gifts in the park store. Several trails around. Large pull-through spots. Our pups enjoyed the large grassy areas. Close to local attractions. Quiet spot close to I70 (but you canโt hear or see it). Weโll stop in again.

Lovely Overnight Stop
Nice stop a Close to Hwy, very nice dog park, friendly helpful owners. In June 2020 be sure to wear a mask into the office. Would def stay here again! 30 amp power didn't get along with our surge protector, not sure why.

Stayed here 1 nite 5/6/2020 during the Pandemic! Office not open, but they assign a site over the phone & you put your $$ in the slot! Nice level pull through, very quiet & peaceful. Our antennae pulled in about 25 stations, had 4 bars on Verizon! Lots of long term campers, but nicely kept!! We have a 40ft MH & sites are all nice size! Used our Good Sam discount & paid $30/full hookup!

Easy I-70 Access
Decent sized campground, 8 pull through slots. Lots of trees, lots of back in spots, looked kinda tight, all gravel. Open year round. Discounts given for various memberships. Nice owners.

Very friendly host pool looks nice but too cool to swim now! Camp ground was cleaned and well kept..no antenna tv and it was a bit oddly set up if it would be filled up...had some problem with the sewer. But worked for an overnight stay off the interstate!

2 Thumbs up
For being just off the I-70 this park is just what I needed. Only stayed one night, gravel sites were mostly level, kinda tight but maneuverable, Owner was so gracious and friendly. Whole park was quiet and peaceful at the stroke of 10p. People just sitting outside and enjoying the stars campfires and friends. Nice place! Lots of space to walk your dog too. Saw the pool and it looked very inviting although I did not use it. Definitely an oasis off the busy hwy

Would Stay Again
Some sites better than others. Much of the campground is seasonal or temporary residents but most were newer or well kept campers, not sketchy at all like some parks that allow "seasonal" residents.
Pool was nice, very large, and was very clean.
Most sites had more space than the park across the interstate.
Park had a lot of room for large rigs.
If you're just pulling in for the night with a class C or a mid to small trailer and you don't plan on using the pool you might be better staying at the state park just a quarter mile down the road, a little cheaper and a little more isolated from the interstate.
