Easy Pull Off

This park is an easy pull off the highway. If you follow the owners’ directions into the park, it is very easy to get to the pull-through sites at the front of the campground. They are very large and shady. The sites are water and electric for 50 or 30 amp. They have a dump on property if needed. The highway noise is constant but not a problem for us. We turned on the fan and I sleep with ear plugs all the time anyways. This is our second stop for a one night stay there and we’ll probably use them again sometime.

Holy road Noise

We came after dark and left before light. From what we could tell, the park looked great and seemed well kept. No problems finding a spot from their helpful map. They have an easy after hours pay system too. I feel bad giving them 3 stars but the road noise is HORRIBLE. Semis flying by all night and 1/2 of them drive on the side rumble strips. Missouri puts those strips so far in from the edge of the road, it’s hard to not drive on them. In a nutshell, if road noise doesn’t bother you, this is a really nice place. If it does bother you, definitely don’t stay here.

Great Overnight Stop

Heading west and looking for a place to stop for the night and we called this place. The guy that answered was so helpful when telling how to come into the campgrounds. Nice pull through site, some highway noise but didn’t bother my sleeping. All in all great overnight stop and I would stop again when in this area

A Work In Progress

Friendly host, mom and pop trying to make it work. She cooks in the little bar and he is trying to bring the Park into shape.

Rustic And In Progress

This park is a diamond in the rough. Owners acquired last October and are continuing to work on improvements. Most sites are electric only and a few sites have full hookups. We could see where they are working on new full hook up sites. Owner made sure we had water in our fresh water tank and a place to dump before we left. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! Some road noise from the interstate, but we put n a fan and it didn’t bother us.
