Weekend Trip 1 Hr From Home
It is a very nice and clean campground run by the state, the roads are all one-way and your car permit is included in your camping. The one down side we saw was no beach area to speak of and the pool was extra and had no shade at all. Will go back but not around the 4th as the homeowners accross the lake did shoot off a large number of them both nights we stayed.

Nice park! Clean and well maintained.
Would be better if 50 amp was available as well as water at each site.
Could also expand the basic/primitive sites to the south and east be able to have some 30/50 amp sites along the water.

To me it’s about the treatment and attention to detail by the staff...place is clean, very friendly and helpful people, water is warm, sites are clean and spacious...well worth the money any day

Decent Overnight Spot
Stopped for the night. Pretty decent area right on the lake. Nice levelish spots spaced appropriately. Only complaint is it smelled like sewage outside. Even if you were on the complete opposite side from the dump site. Also there is water and dump site, the other reviewer must have missed it.

This park is a hidden gem. Lots of big spaces. A few pull thrus. Many shady spots. No water or sewer but both easily accessible. Right on Big Lake. Rate $19-20. Very relaxing. Friendly hosts. Would highly recommend.
