Could Be Awesome
We've been twice, nice and quiet on the old loop. Needs updating badly, I will still return.
Site 22, is not good.
On the old loop, most lake sites are really nice.

Beautiful spot and convenient to the highway, but, I agree with one of the reviews about the “Ant Problem”. My husband and I stayed one night in our truck bed camper and the next morning we noticed ants everywhere!
They had crawled up the support legs that we lower when we camp. There were trails of them comping into our camper through every little crack. Other than that, the scenery was very pretty. They do have toilets, showers, and laundry. However the bathrooms could definitely use a little TLC.

Weekend Stay
Ants! Ants galore! Make sure to bring something for them. They were all over our camper. Inside and out!
Most camp sites are super tricky to back into with the narrow roads (if you have a larger camper like we do). The park is nice and quiet though. Very family friendly. Just needs a little more maintenance on camp sites. Most sites tend to be very uneven. It was nice for a weekend, but we most likely won’t be back.

Needs Repair
Older park, full hook up, roads need repair, stayed over nite, saw lots of locals with boats fishing, saw a water slide across lake, also was a wedding going on while we were there. Was lucky got in as walk up, next morning saw one site empty. Was a good over nite stay

A True Gem
Nice park with a bit of rustic feel. Clean facilities and friendly staff. Excellent lake, three major hiking trails, summer splash slide, and features a disc golf course. Larger trailers and RV's should probably plan to stay on the newer side.

Beautiful Park
This place is amazing! Clean and quiet. Big pretty trees! Lake is full of fish. My son caught and released a nice Bream. We very much enjoyed this park. We absolutely will be back. Hopefully to stay longer. Sites are back in. Ours was challenging to get into but we made it. The other sites looked easier.

Very quiet and peaceful setting. Great back to nature park. Sites are sloping but easy to set up in. Would love to have stayed longer

Very pretty setting, pads are small, no Satelite signal, most sites have a drop off right after the pad we thought that it was a little dangerous.

Overnighter
This was a nice find. 4.5 stars. Recommendations : Get to the park before the employees leave at 7pm. Otherwise there is very little information available. We got there just as the employees were leaving, they said to just take any spot and pay in the morning. Because we didnt know how many spots they had we took the first one we came too. The next morning we found out we were in a premium spot that waa reserved. Woops. It has beautiful scenery and is nice and quiet. We will be stopping here again.

Quiet park, with plenty of space in between. Pads are small, parking limited, and drainage is lacking during rain fall. Their is a pool with a water park quality water slide. Cost is $6 to swim or $11 to swim and use slide (a little pricey if you ask me) There is a lake swimming area on the CCC campsite, Free. Camp store has closed and no longer in operation, game room a joke (70% of games are out of order). This park needs some upkeep.

To Get Away
This place is super quiet in the off season. I came during the week in November and it was the perfect getaway. The pads are pretty level and there's no heavy traffic. It's inexpensive too. The down side is that there isn't much in the way of food close by, but primitive is what you get!
