Nice campground, inundated with ants

Nice state park with many amenities. The campground is located along a lake and many sites have nice views of the water. We were in site 39, a full hookup site with a nice water view. At about 4:00 am, we awoke to find ants invading the trailer. The outside of the trailer was covered with thousands of ants and they were pouring into the trailer. A park employee came in the afternoon and sprayed all entry points around the trailer. We spent all day killing ants in and on our trailer. This continued sporadically over the next few days. The bathouse was clean, but very rundown. If you take ant precautions, this could be a really pleasant stay.

Nice Park

Stayed one night. Spacious paved sites with shade. Beautiful park with two drawbacks: Restrooms are in serious need of updating and ants seem to be everywhere. Our car was covered with ants the morning that we departed.

Great Nature Campsite

We stayed here for 2 nights. You can not beat the scenery. The park was very clean. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Beautiful Park Great Price

Very nice park, clean and the staff is super friendly. We got a spot right on the lake so the view was amazing. They seemed to have a lot of activities like basketball courts etc. Definitely worth the stop.

Clean and Quiet

Clean and quiet with large lake, marina, playground, hiking trails, and 18 hole disc golf course. No swimming pool but there is a water park slide 3 miles from park. Pad was level and sites are spacious. 50 amp and 30 amp. Lots of water fowl. Lots of ants in summer.

My Go-to Campground For Columbus Area!

We love this quiet state park campground with a playground, baseball fields, and disc golf course within walking distance. Always peaceful and inviting! Only wish the water was suitable for swimming.

Great campground on a really nice lake. Also has a nice park for the kids and a really cool frisbee golf course for free.
