Campground
New owners great place. Coming home from Texas had a long day. They weren't open yet and gave us a spot. Young couple will stop by again if we come through again
Right across from the pipe stone national site
All new electric

Stayed 2 nights and Loved it. This is a safe campground. Kids rode bikes, played in the pool, everyone was very respectful. Pipestone is A very interesting town with a lot of heritage. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area

Pretty Worn Out
Looks to be an old KOA in pretty rough shape. Folks inside the building were very friendly. All the facilities worked but were very worn. Pool okay but playground pretty rough. Electric hookups were on posts that were leaning over! Biggest bonus is that it’s right across the road from Pipestone National Monument, which is beautiful and historical and definitely worth the visit. We will stay here again because there is nowhere else in town, but would prefer to go past in the future.

Stay Away - Boondocking Would Be Better
Well, things certainly have seemed to change since the one review from 2017. You can’t reach anybody by phone; you leave a message and “they’ll get back to you “. What a dump. Dilapidated hookups, old metal buildings all over the site; our electricity pole had to lean against our camper or it would’ve been face down in the dirt. Pool was empty. Grass was overgrown and our fee was $43/night. We paid less for that in the Black Hills at very nice campgrounds where the RV sites weren’t side-by-side. Some seasonal campers there. Customer service was non-existent. Stay a way. We wish we would have.

Very Nice Campground.
We stayed 2 nights. We came in because it was raining. The manager gave us a site that was on a higher gravel site. They have had a lot of rain in that area. The campground is neat and clean. Near many local attractions about the native Americans and the beautiful Sioux granite and pipestone rock. The campground accepts Good Sam and Passport membership discounts.

Ok Place
The staff is really good but the camp ground was over crowded and there is absolutly no space between sites. The pool was clean and full of poeople. The great part is that it is next to Pipepestone NP.

This was our first time out, in a new 5th wheel, ever. This was the perfect choice of a campground for rookies. :) Super friendly and helpful staff. Easy spot to pull through. Clean facilities bathroom/shower and laundry room. Excellent activities for kids. I had 3 kids with us 8yrs 6yrs 4yrs old and never once did I hear the classic "I'm bored". They have a great pool, big playground, sandbox, basketball court, horse shoes, volleyball court and mini golf. Grounds are overall very clean. They delivered our firewood right to our fire ring.
We can't wait to go back!
