Labor Day Weekend
Visited Lake Bronson State Park this weekend. A dam was built here by the WPS in 1937 that created the reservoir that is the lake. There are nearly 200 campsites and only about 15 occupied sites over the weekend. Kayaked the lake and the river leading into it, hiked from one campground to another. There is a beach that would be great in the summer and a bike path throughout the park and over to the town of Lake Bronson. In another week or two the aspen trees in the Two Rivers campground are going to be beautiful.

Great Lake front location
Stayed in a tent on the lake shore camp ground and enjoyed the visit. Small grounds with adequate wash facilities. The park itself offers plenty of hiking trails of various difficulty levels. Just be sure to bring enough food, because it is several miles to any type of store.
