We Used To Love It Here

This is a nice, not outstanding, campground. Location was perfect as we have family nearby in all directions. We have spent a month here for the last 4 summers and enjoyed our stay. Campground maintenance was terrible. We had to plead for grass cutting around our site. There were 4 campers tapped onto single water hook-ups. I asked the manager to trim some low hanging tree limbs so we could get into our assigned site and was denied. Recently, it was acquired by a membership Resort group. I called about a 30 day stay this summer; 2018, and was told no. They now require a 90 minute sales presentation and will give three, free nights of camping. Then, if you purchase a membership, you can stay two weeks. They will not give any membership cost on the phone. So, we now have no place to stay while visiting family in MN. There are very few Campgrounds in this area and those existing are booked solid for summer by seasonal campers. What a great area to build a new Campground.
