Great Place

Great place and personal. Clean sites and quiet. Deer roaming through it at times. Walk to dam.

Excellent clean campground. Some sites were tight trying to get into them with a 30 ft fifth wheel. The volunteers were outstanding! Can’t possibly convey how helpful and kind they were. Great location for Brainerd Lakes Area.

Gull Lake

Beautiful campground. Very well maintained the volunteers and staff are great. Can't say enough good things. Stay and enjoy! PS we loved the gardens!

Great Base camp For Brainerd Lakes Area

Very well kept campground. Spacious, Electric only sites. Some sites are huge which is helpful for those bringing RV and watercraft. Bathhouse was very clean. 3 bars of AT&T cell coverage. Campground is central to Brainerd Lakes region. 10 minutes to Ernies lakeside restaurant. 15 minutes to Grandview lodge. 10 minutes to both Maddens and Craguns resorts. Downtown Nisswa 15 minutes away. Lakeside beach and boat launch very close. Will definitely come back.

Better Have Reservation

Nice campground. Nice facilities. We did swim a little at the beach, but reeds and seaweed are encroaching on the swimming area. Good area to bike around. Restrooms and showers were ok. Washing machine and dryer (free) were nice. During the summer you will need reservations through recreation.gov.

Large, peaceful sites. Lake is close. Dogs are welcomed. Friendly and helpful staff. Will come here again. Senior national park pass gives you 50% off.

Nice Campground

Wooded, well maintained sites, no sewer or water, only dump station and water fill. $5 for non campers to use station. Decent privacy at sites, well staffed, good shower house, Gull lake beach, boat launch, picnic area in walking distance. Parking pass with camping. Sheriff drives thru often. Good fishing for kids below dam.
