Nice Find

I was not expecting it to be this nice! Super clean grounds and friendly staff. The amenities were nice. We randomly booked here because the other location we wanted was full. We are so happy we found it because we have already booked to stay here again!

Expensive and Dirty Common Areas

We stayed last week with several friends. The sites are nice but not fancy. Cement pad, normal hook-ups and low definition cable. We enjoyed the pool but the men's and woman's bathrooms looked like the aftermath of a frat party, totally gross. Our friends tried to do laundry and the washing machine took their money and then the machine did not run. Absolutely no staff to be seen except for one really nice guy doing every job in the complex. Just too much deferred maintenance for the $100+ price per night. The sprinklers turning on Sunday morning at 10:30am - 30 minutes before check out time was a nice touch too. Nothing like driving home in damp cloths.

Truly A Resort

This is truly a resort. Beautifully landscaped, impeccably maintained, and all the amenities. Spacious, grassy, level sites with a concrete pad and patio. Interior roads are paved and easy to navigate. Friendly, helpful staff. We stayed here last year, and couldn’t wait to return. There is some traffic noise, but not enough to bother us. Close to Petoskey, Boyne City, and Charlevoix, which are all beautiful lakeside towns. We’ll stay here again and again.

We had a wonderful stay this last week. We stayed in the new section #97 & 96 with friends who drove in from NY, and us from Maryland. Michigan is BEAUTIFUL and so was the park!! We will be back for sure!! Worth every penny!!

Very Pretentious

Nice resort but very pretentious. We we staying 5 nights in Petoskey, but could not find anywhere to stay in one spot for the 5 days. When reservations were made, would have to move 3 times in 5 days, yet the park was not even a 1/3 full. The rate was $97 a night, which is way over priced.

Beautiful!

Beautiful resort, gated, paved sites, easy in and out! Called at the last minute and because we were arriving after closing, they had an after hours check-in packet waiting for us! Gate with security code is nice! Mostly all big rig upscale motorcoaches like ours! Super clean sites with beautiful fire rings and picnic tables. They are building a new section with more sites! We decided to stay another night, but they were sold out, so they offered a site in the new part at a discount because there were no firepits or picnic tables yet! Still very nice! There are no views of the lake, but lots of big trees and nice ponds with fountains!

Beautiful Resort

Another beautiful motorcoach resort in Michigan. We enjoyed using this resort as our base while we rode many beautiful backroads in the Petoskey area. Motorcyclists should be sure to ride Michigan 119, also known as The Tunnel of Trees. After enjoying a lunch at the famous Legs Restaurant, we continued to Mackinaw City. After visiting the Mackinac Lighthouse and enjoying the lake views, we jumped back on our bikes and rode south on 119. The scenery was spectacular. It is a road made for motorcyclists. Don't miss it!
