Located at the entrance to the Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park. 44 sites with 20/30 amp power, some with water, dump station on site, picnic tables, fire pits, indoor restroom and shower building, pets welcome. Across the road from Lake Superior with a mile of sandy beach. 90 miles of hiking trails, numerous waterfalls, lakes and streams in old growth forest.

Great Place And Staff

Aug 2021 Very friendly staff did not have reservations they had a site that had been empty for a few days called the people to check and see if they were coming they were not. So they let us book the site. Very accommodating. Beautiful views of the lake and sunset. Easy driving to porcupine mountains. Woman in the office was very helpful with information on what to do in the area. Definitely stay again.

A Very Nice Place

We have enjoyed our stay here. The sites around the perimeter of the campground have trees, but not so much in the center of the park. The bath house is very clean and comfortable, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The campground is across the road from lake superior, affording beautiful daytime views and stunning sunsets. The Porcupine mountains are right up the road, making this the perfect place to stay.
