Love this parks beach & picnic area. I've spent many hours there over the years.
Cellular coverage: Verizon & AT&T good. T-Mobile no signal. Haven't checked signal strength in campground.

Nice Park
Have spent years coming here with family. It’s a nice park, some wooded sites. Not many hiking trails but enough to keep you busy. The kids have a blast riding their bikes up and down the hills.
Nice all sports lake with public boat launch. Park side beach is not clean due to the geese that live in and on the lake year round. The small beach at the end of the boat launch area stays clean and is dog friendly as long as they’re on a 6’ leash. Weekends can get busy at this beach as it’s a favorite pull in spot for boaters.
We have heard several fire alarms go off in the two days we’ve been here from the local volunteer fire department but other than that, and some fun-loving campers a few sites down it’s been quiet.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet spot to hang for a few days. Park wasn’t full in September. We lucked out and only had a neighbor on one side of us.

Great Campground!
We went in early May. It was quiet and peaceful, except for the frogs singing at night! Bathrooms were older but very clean-typical of Michigan state park shower houses. Beautiful lake nearby and a few trails through the campground.
