Not Easy For Big Rigs
This is an excellent campground, close to the beach, and just a short drive from Muskegon and Grand Haven. That means it's very popular, and hard to get reservations in the summer. Only electric service is provided, no water or sewer. Some sites are very roomy, but others are quite small. The park is shady, as most all the sites are underneath tall oak trees, but that can make it difficult to maneuver your rig in and out of your space. I would not recommend this park for rigs over 30 ft., although some manage to make their units fit.

$33
Nice. $33 is getting rarer. Lot 37 is about 1/4 mile to Lake Michigan and the best sand ever! The site was very large. We're a 33 foot class A and backing in was easy.

Nice Big Sites
Lots to do here. Nice hiking trails, nice beach access on Lake Michigan and lot of the sites (not all) are huge.

Great Facility
Good size lots for tent and RV camping. The facilities, flush toilets and showers, were clean and in good condition. Close to dunes/beach and lake. Would recommend and stay again!

We loved this park! Would’ve given another star if the trails had been accessible for my husbands scooter.

Great Tall Trees
We stayed 5 days in late Aug. This is a typical Michigan state park. Level sand/grass camping spot with plenty of extra room. We had 50a power but no water or sewer hookup. There are water stations all around and the bath house has private shower rooms and are very clean.
This is a great place to RV or tent camp with friends or family.
