Disappointing
Lovely little lake, nice green belts to enjoy water access. However we arrived on a Friday and left Monday morning. Way to crowded, noisy, little kids on nikes everywhere when you are backing in a tight spot, limited parking and packed in tight in our part of the park. The worst thing was the disgusting old bathroom with 1 shower, which didn't work. But of course you don't know that until you get naked. I yrued to look past the wad of hair on the drain and the bugs, but when the water just dripped out...
I choose private parks expecting better shower facilities. When I complained, 17 year old in charge said, " yeh those bathrooms suck. Most people come up here and use these new ones." How about a sign??? Aaaargh

We had a beautiful water front campsite. We stayed 3 nights. Excellent bathrooms, large sites, lots of trees, very well run. A great place if you are looking to do some boating. The 2 draw backs, no site hook ups for sewage, they have several dump sites, and the location if you are wanting to do some sight seeing in Michigan. Its about 40 minutes from Traverse city and about an hour to Sleeping Bear Dunes. One of the nicest campsites ever for our motorhome.

LOTS of seasonal campers. Some decent sites for weekenders. Best to do a drive through before you go to find a site that you like.
