Our Fav Campground
Close to many towns if you forget something. Plenty if things to do here, biking, hiking, geocaching, fishing, boating, its all here plus more! Renewed sites all with their own pedestal 30amp 50 Amp, some pull through. DNR rangers are probably the best in the state. Been going here for over 30 years and will be visiting for another 30.

Close Enough Yet Still Far Enough
Lansing, DeWitt, St. Johns all well within a few miles. Bathrooms are good, showers are what you'd expect for a state park, beach at lake ovid is big with a fishing dock. Lots of trail to ride bikes, horses, or hike. Lots of geocaching out here. Ranger and staff are friendly... kids playground is really nice. Has bball hoops, horse shoes pit, some sort of ladder ball pit and you can bet the equipment from the ranger station nearby.

Old campground limited electrical hookups. Large 5th wheel and campers barely fit.

Decent park but limited electrical outlets for all sites. It is first come, first serve.
