Good, Bad, & Ugly
Like the Eastwood movie, this was good, bad, and some ugly.
Good-Opens earlier for the season than most & closes later for the season than most. FHU available. Paved site for TT
or RV at many sites. Large park, multiple activities for children, across from Bronner’s. It served it’s purpose for road worn travelers.
Bad & Ugly- Next door to some sort of industrial plant with loud refrigerator trailers and banging something part of the night. Staff placed nearly all campers clustered together even though nearly the whole park was empty. Sites are tight. Ours was muddy while plenty of others were clear. The placement of water & electric require most larger units to use extensions of electric and water hoses. Price was $70+ even in early April.
So I guess my review ends up being my shoot out at the OK Corral. This is our 2nd time here & first wasn’t any better.
Hope your experience is better than ours.

Camper
Nice location to Frankenmuth...But costly for a small lot and no fire pit. Lucky we did not have a camper in the next lot next to us due to covid19 as the lot was 30 feet wide. Not much for a two slides and a awning
Staff were nice and looked like a well run camp ground

Nice Campgrounds
Nice, clean and clean bathroom and shower. Spots are a little tight but manageable.

Look For Another Place To Stay
The sites are tiny and poorly laid out. My site is so small our awning can’t go out all the way. Also, my neighbor’s sewer, electric, and water hook ups are in the middle of our tiny lawn area. It’s uncomfortable. We are so crammed I can almost hear them breathing in their camper. Also, we stayed during the week so there were numerous open sites throughout the park so I don’t understand why they put someone right next to us. It’s bizarre. Also, the showers are cold with push button faucets that have to cycle through (1 minute per cycle) before getting warming. Booking here reminds me of choosing the wrong item off of a menu. I wished I booked the campground up the street for my stay in Frankenmuth. Sigh.

Over Priced
This campground is ideal if you want to be close to Brenners Christmas shop and all the local things. However, our first site was too narrow for a Class A with sides. Went to another site and plugged in the 50 A cord, flipped the switch and got 30 A. Thought there was a problem with the power post but was told that all the sites are 30 A except the double wides that cost another $8. We had already paid $61 after the 10% Good Sam discount! Wife found mud in many places, the gravel spots are soft with the rain and we left ruts just getting through the narrow spot. Checked out and got our money back. Won’t go back again.

Great Fun
We got a pull through site and it was a little narrow but enough to get the fun going. There are other sites that a little larger.

Very Nice But Narrow
I want to give this 5 stars, but the standard full hook up sites are very narrow. You're paying premium prices so we expect the site to be a bit bigger (if you have slides they almost touch with your neighbors). The positives: great playground, fantastic activities for the kids, the 2 pools are wonderful, clean bathrooms and family bathrooms/showers, the staff are great and the location in Frankenmuth can't be beat. We got to meet Yogi and Boo-boo bear too. We'll be back (but maybe get a deluxe site).

Overpriced for water and electric. Wifi does not work even after contacting the office. Disappointed in the site
