Fall Retreat

Stayed from late Sep to early Oct. Gorgeous site! MD has a senior discount program for 62+. Only$10 for lifetime membership. Stayed on Tulip Loop with a full hookup. Alone during the week. Others started to show up on Thu for the weekend. Bug spray is an essential, but you're staying on a swampy coastal site, so... Will be back!

Lovely, But Buggy

Went in mid/late September. Very quiet, not too busy. Tulip Loop has a few very secluded spots. Be prepared for bugs (spray, stickers, thermacells, and a fan), but not awful. My stepdaughter got eaten alive but the rest of us were ok. Loved the dog beach, regular beach and piers (we caught a crib with a string)! All in all, one of the better camping experiences we’ve had. Highly recommend!

Worst Vacation Ever

Please god do not come here during the hot summer months. The grounds are full of mosquito-ridden tar-like cesspools that reek of death. You get bit by bugs every 90 seconds (not an exaggeration). The dumpsters were not changed nor were the bathrooms cleaned and the grasses were not cut the entire week we were there (August 2018). If I could give this place ZERO stars I would.

Beautiful

This place is just beautiful with lots backing right up to the water. Probably my favorite spot so far. Already booked again for this summer.

Point Lookout State Park is awesome! The RV sites are nice and private. Wooded lots. Close to beaches. Standing water throughout all camping lots so bring mosquitoe repellent. Lots of it. Overall, excellent camping experience. Highly recommend.

The staff and camp host were exceptional , friendly , out going, just nice people! Thank you for a good camping experience.
