Great Staff

Stayed at the park the first weekend campgrounds were open so facilities were limited. Arrived late on Friday and was politely greeted. The manager even stayed late to cook us dinner (a pizza) and even offered to deliver it to our site. Some sites are too close for comfort; thankfully we have open spaces on each side of us and water behind. Facilities were nice but take quarters if you plan to use the showers (8-10 mins each). The lake was beautiful and weather even better. Would definitely camp again!

Not For Everyone

This campground which is right on Long Lake is perfect for families with young children. The facilities are clean and well kept. You will find a lot of seasonal campers here and what seems to be repeat customers year after year. That being said, this campground is not what we look for with our 18’ pop up camper. We did find the perfect site right on the point with incredible views of the lake where we put our kayaks in for a great paddle. The campground is somewhat packed together with seasonal and what looks to be permanent campers. Although the campground itself is well taken care of, the permanent campers are less caring about how their site looks. It’s kind of like neighborhood in any community. Some homes are well taken care of and are neat and clean and some are not with lots of stuff strewn around their property. I wish that the owners of this campground could have some guidelines about keeping the camp sights clean and organized.
