Nice
Nice quiet campground. Big sites. One turnoff We arrived about an hour before “ check in “ time and they charged us an $8 early check in fee. Never heard of that before. We drove to Baxter State park only to find out that dogs are not allowed in the park! We’ve been to parks all over the country and have never heard of such. Even Yellowstone allows dogs. Don’t see this helping the local economy.

Very clean. Owners were wonderful. We went on an evening Moose Excursion with Wendy. Saw a mama and her baby, plus she took us to see some spectacular scenery. Finding our site was a little tricky. Follow the camp map directions given and you shouldn't have a problem.

Nice individual sites.
This was a great campground. The people were nice and all the sites have some privacy to them. The Wi-Fi and cell phone coverage was very good for being so far away.

Very Nice
Nice place to park the RV, very nice showers! and no quarter needed.and take the truck fishing, and down the dirt roads. I reccomend the Golden RD. We saw 3 moose, 3 bear, deer, fox, fished a lot of streams, caught trout, salmon, yellow perch. Blackfies literally SUCK! bug dope works wonders.

Very friendly staff. Sites are very wooded, private, and large. Kids loved the playground. Short drive to Baxter State park.
