Great New Owners Who Care

Nice park on the Saco River. Mix of RV and tent sites. Some field sites around public picnic shelter and fire pit and also some nice wooded sites closer to river. Bathhouses clean and well maintained. Super friendly owners involved with frequent walk throughs who enforced the 10 to 8 quiet rule. The river is beautiful but too shallow for power boating. Campground has tubes and kayaks perfect for fishing and exploring. Saw pictures of a largemouth bass caught from dock and you can get a one day ME fishing license for $11. There is an easy walking path around park and river. Lots of lake boating with tours, rentals and launches on nearby Long Lake or Sebego. Several really good restaurants in Cornish. We will come back next time in area.
