I think everyone understands the difficult times we are in and businesses and patrons have to work together. We booked at the Lakeside RV Park. 100 miles from them, we received a call that we had been exposed to COVID virus. We took the first exit and found a testing facility and we were positive. Doing the correct thing, we then turned around and started our 200 mile home. We would have been fine with a credit for a future date but nope, corporate will not allow. So, I hope Lakeside RV Park spends their money wisely. They will never get any more of my money.
YES, we both are sick as dogs now with the COVID. At least I feel, we did the right thing by canceling.
It’s not about the money, it’s about taking the right action.

More Plusses Than Minuses.
The Good: Well maintained, easy access for big rigs, spacious sites on lake, nice playground for kids, friendly staff.
The Bad: Aweful wifi speeds, road noise, lackluster pandemic precautions.

We stayed one night on our way to Virginia for the holidays. Booked over the phone & was directed to stop at the office to pick up packet (emailed us info too). Arrived to a clean, easy to access park. No packet in the door but we had our site number & made our way to our spot only to find someone already there. Walked to the office to find the walk up reservations & was able to secure another pull thru. Spoke with the office the next morning to learn they made the reservation for the wrong day. Fortunately, it all worked out and lesson learned, always have them confirm the arrival date with me before hanging up ?
Friendly staff and would definitely stay again!

Our Favorite Of Our Trip
Grounds with lake & animals made it our favorite of the trip. Loved being able to do a load of laundry while relaxing in the air conditioned Campers Lounge while watching tv.

I only stayed for one night in space 83. What a great park! Concrete pads, about 80 ft long, very level. Nice staff with a guide to the site. Good water pressure and electric. No cable. Many TV stations over antenna. Carter's Grocery just a few miles down the road. Great location to Baton Rouge and a nice place to stop for the night.

Ok For An Overnight
The staff has been super. The park is pretty, and clean.....but the road noise where the overnight guests stay is horrible. Looks like there are a lot of full timers living here in the backside/ quite part of the park.

A great place with a lake and swans. A new experience for my dogs! The swans didn’t like them. Paved roads. Nice staff, lovely sites.

Extremely Nice RV Park
Extremely nice campground. Convenient to I-12, but far enough away that there was no I-12 noise. Staff very pleasant. Many long term guests, but their sites are neat and orderly. Beautiful paved roads and sites with well place utilities that worked well. No cable, but our site was in the open so satillite was no problem and we picked up several local channels on our HD antenna. Beautiful lake with paved path along edge. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice Beautiful Park.
Just an overnight stay but very nice except for the skinny hillbilly in space # 28 playing his truck stereo way too loud. Thankfully he quit
before 10 pm!! The people were friendly. Nice lake with swans. Bathrooms were clean & bright. Overall a very well set up park. Traffic was minimal. Was easy off & on the interstate but far enough off to be quiet.

42" 5th wheel. Pull through site, Full hookups, minutes to I-12. $46 with Goodsam. Only spent one night here, in route to final destination. Sorry we didn't have more time to explore the facilities, but the reviews speak for themselves. Nice lake, very clean, concrete pads, paved roads. Staff were friendly. I would stay here again. Felt very safe.

Lakeview RV Park
We enjoyed our stay! Very clean and well maintained. Campers and staff was very friendly. Store located at the front. Propane able to be refilled on site. Park area, game room, and basketball court for the kids. Loved the large lake and walking path. There is a nice fenced in dog park. All sites were paved and came with a picnic table. Some came with fire rings. Bathhouse and laundry faculties were clean. Sunset and sunrises on the lake are breathtaking. The only cons is the pool is very small and crowed (holiday weekend).

Stopped in for a overnight after a long drive. Everyone there was really nice the staff and campers. Lots to do for adults and kids. Our kids ran off to the game room while we did some laundry and walked the dogs. All the facilities were clean and In good working order. Nice level concrete sites with a great view of the lake. Two curios swans greeted us on our arrival which made for some fun pictures. Lots of friendly people throughout the park. Next time we’re in the area, we will definitely stay there again.

Traveling to CA, we stayed over night here. I would recommend! Easy access, nice walking path around part of lake. Looks like lots of snow birds so felt very safe! Down side, thought we were getting way from road noise but I guess it’s almost anywhere unless to go to the country. It did slack off normal sleeping hours!!! However, very clean and we’d come back!

This was one of the nicest campgrounds we have visited. It was just far enough away from the highway that there was no noise, but close enough that it was a quick, easy drive. Hosts were helpful and friendly. We were only there overnight, but it would be a nice place to stay longer.

Beautiful place. Just there overnight. RVS surround a small lake. Everything concrete. Office 1sr class. Had cane poles for fishing. Even had beer. Really nice people. A pair of swans on the lake. Immaculate grounds. Very quiet. 1st class place. Reasonably priced. Will stay again on our way back to NM. One of the nicest parks we have ever stayed at. 5 stars from us.
