Great Hidden Gem!!!
This is a hidden gem. It’s not that far off I-10 and if you’re heading East to Bee Orleans it’s right on an alternative route, if you want to get off I-10 and see some scenery.
The staff are wonderful and the sites are nice. We wish we had more than a night here. Left a lot later than we planned because of how tranquil it was.

Great place !
Love this place. All grass. No dam cement. Lake right there at campground. Lots and lots of shade. Price $ 30 a day I think. Came in at 5 pm and told find a spot you like see us in AM . very friendly staff !
We will be back here next winter for sure. The camp store is well supplied.
Town is pretty far away so stock up before coming in.
Campfire is ok but not many fire rings . told they don't sell fire wood.
Come and enjoy . very quiet last night.

Nice Place Under the Oaks
Off the beaten track, near the little town of Lake Arthur. Myers Landing is in a beautiful setting, with large Live Oaks draped with spanish moss, on Lake Arthur... a wide stretch of the Mermentau River. Although a bit run down, the owner Gerilyn is friendly and accomidating. She runs a well stocked small country-style store with most necessities. Very laid back... pet and family friendly. It's run and looks like a old style cajun RV park, resting comfortably on the banks of the Mermentau... C'est Bon!

We Love Myer's Landing
We feel like family. The pace is slow, the little ones play in the playground area, the teens spend a bit of time at the mini golf and the adults are kicked back in a country state of mind visiting friends and family during a cook out by the cool autumn nights or boat riding from the launch right by the country store in the summer sun. Fishing license sold as well as snacks, drinks and a hodge-podge of items you may have forgotten. Cabins are available. My favorite is the clubhouse. Room galore! The kitchen is also fabulous. The shower facility is modest but it does the trick. We bought our 1st camper a week ago and look forward to many trips as rv'ers but have been there many times as cabin dwellers. Gerilyn always has a smiling voice as she manages the day-to-day operations with Julie by her side. Off the beaten path but well worth the trip down an official Louisiana Scenic Byway.
