Quiet Park

Was a little Leary due to the pictures that you find on the internet but wife needed a place to stay running from hurricane Ian so we gave it a shot. Turns out that they are trying to clean the park and doing a bunch of upgrades. Right off I-10. There is a lot of full time residents but it is quiet and we have had no issues. There really isn’t anything for the kids to do and not really anything in area. But everything is a short drive away. Hour tops. But in the end we stayed 2 months so wife can be close to family for holidays. Do recommend. We are even considering booking here again next year for the holidays.

Priced Right

Cajun Haven is priced right. Roads are rough. However, sites are level. Restroom/showers are in rough shape. Needs to be totally remodeled. However, $20.00 for a 50amp full hookup level site, I'd stop again. During our overnight stay, the park had lots of standing water. Must have had lots of rain. We stayed inside in the evening to avoid the mosquitos. And Mark was as helpful and friendly as someone can be.

Basics for FHU. Very kind host. Only $20! Convenient stop off I-10.
