What a great time... we enjoyed the hot tub. Music 2 nights a week. Very nice staff. Planned on staying 1week ended up staying 2. Staff was exceptional. Laundry clean, bathrooms clean. Sites were concrete & large. Downside for us snowbirds no heated pool. Drinks were expensive. 2 drinks just under $30 bucks. With all that said, We will definitely be back. We enjoyed our dinner next door at CT USA. Donuts at Heavenly Donuts were to die for. True southern hospitality.

Great Stop
Laundry room, buddy sites for 2 campers, clean, pool with lazy river and hot tub, swim up bar, individual bath/shower, easy check in, WiFi and high speed WiFi for purchase, clean, reasonably priced for Feb, food services and bar not open due to the time of year, plenty of spots open.

Ghost Town
We have stayed at cajun Palms before and loved it. We arrived today to a ghost town and a new sign saying Margaritaville. I was excited since we’ve never been to one. At first glance I thought maybe this was a new transaction. The clerk inside said no this was done last April. They don’t take Good Sams any more. The charge you daily for internet. The laundry room had 3 washers and 1 dryer that worked. Nothing here is open. I’m really disappointed in this place.

To far out of the way for an overnight stop Only two pull through sites All sites full hookup and level concrete 8 sites occupied out of 85. In January when we stopped quiet but will not comeback ever Overpriced. $68.00 per night Too many rules. I ask all campers wherever they leave a review please show price as the dollar signs are not much help. Thank you

Trees Need To Be Trimmed For BIG RIGS
They need to trim their trees for BIG Rigs. They wanted us to park on a certain spot #103 that the trees would have destroyed the sides of the motorcoach, even though the park was empty. Got upset that I wanted move. It is a nice park but not worth the price if you are just staying one night and it is not a weekend when everything is open.

It's Expensive But Kids Loved It
My kids love this place. They bring their bikes & love to swim. The spots are all about 20 feet wide paved concrete and pretty level. Once I got my jack down to the right height that was it as far a leveling went. There are fire pits at nearly every site and plenty of room. There was a family 2 rows over that had loud music playing until the late hours of night. I'm just glad I wasnt their neightbor. There's swimming and 2 lakes for fishing if thats your thing. They have a bar and food court at the pool and also a general store. Thay also sell propane at the highest prices you have never heard of, $3.40 a gallon. They site prices vary depending on when you want to stay. Prices go up during holidays. Normally a spot will run you anywhere from $60 a night all the way up to $100 depending on pull thru or back in site. I stayed Easter weekend and it was $67 a night for a back in spot. Almost makes you wanna save the gas and stay in a nice hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous.

Never Again
Party party party. If that is your thing this is your place. No good for for families with young children. Definitely can't be a good summer place.....no trees at all. Premium prices you even have to pay to "lock" your spot.

Good Overnighter
We stopped here one night on the way to Florida. Check in was a breeze and everyone was very friendly and maskless. The site was fairly level, but it was raining all night and the site had quite a few puddles. Got fried alligator at Chicken on the Bayou and it was excellent. I can see how the park could be considered party central. The place is huge and looks like it’s geared to a fun time with lots of nightly activities. If you want somewhere quiet and peaceful it’s probably not the place. However, we would definitely stop again.

Love this place!
Wish I could give this place 10 stars! It was our first time here. I am originally from Cajun country so it feels like home! The grounds, pool area, and most of all, the staff were amazing! Ashtin was the sweetest and most accommodating person, ever. After traveling all day from Florida, what a pleasure she was to deal with upon check-in. :)) We did a crawfish boil over the weekend; the maintenance guys even picked up our pot, dumped it, and rinsed it out for us the next morning. You can’t go anywhere these days and receive that level of service! I was truly “wow’d” from day of arrival to day of departure. My husband and I can’t wait to return!

Party Central
Been twice. Too loud and busy. Golf carts blaring loud music all day and late into the night. Drunks, and fights both times I was there. They make you pay on the way out, not when you check in. They tried to charge me for drinks charged to my spot by some drunk. I don't drink. I had to block the exit gate with my rv until they removed the charges from my card. Never again for us. However, if you're into lots of drinking, cursing, yelling, swim up bar at the pool, cigarette butts in the pool, then you'll love this place. You can see others posting here love. Spots are nice and cemented.

Great Time
Let’s start with COVID sux, as expected CVD has a lot closed, not letting that affect us, enjoyed quiet time during the week, spaces are spread out, room for slides and still have space, golf carts welcome, trash pickup at site daily, restroom facilities clean. All sites 30/50A, cable, sewer, water. Even have some cabins if you have some extra folks, pets welcome, store has good selection of items. Onsite Gym has good variety of equipment

Happy Camper
This resort is fantastic and run so efficiently. There are guides who take you to your spot and even help you park. There was putt putt golf for the kids and an awesome play yard, huge resort style pool, with swim up adult bar area. There is a very grand cabana with a stage and wonderful bands on the weekends. The local restaurants deliver right to your campsite and the food was delicious . We fished in the ponds and had a fun and relaxing time. The kids and I will visit again and again. Awesome rv resort

Really Nice Place!
Loved this campground! Nice level wide sites. And the dogs loved watching all the ducks wander by! Would definitely stay here again. Only bad thing was we were here on a Monday night and the restaurants that delivered to the campground were closed. But we'd still come back!

Stayed over Mother’s Day weekend. Sites were all concrete and level. Plenty room for big rigs. Cable a little fuzzy. Water park was awesome; with shady spots, handicap lifts, swim up bar, children’s area, live band on Saturday night was very good, movies, sand volleyball, etc. we chose not to pay extra for WiFi, although they said it was free at the clubhouse. Extra charges to bring a golf cart. Several local restaurants deliver to your campsite. Enjoyed our stay very much!

More Than Just A Place To Park
We have visited twice now, and both experiences were well above average. Yes, there is some interstate work going on at the exit, but once you get to Cajun Palms it’s all forgotten. Access is easy, all roads in and sites are paved with adequate room between sites. Several sites accommodate multiple RVs traveling together, which can be really nice. Very well staffed and managed. The overall vibe is one of fun and relaxation. Nice water play area, pool, and an outdoor entertainment area that includes sand volleyball, an outdoor bar, with a Saturday night band on one visit and a DJ the other, with dancing into the evening. Great fun!

Great Place
We give this place 5 stars easy! We have stayed here on 4 or 5 occasions and the staff is always friendly and the place is always spotless Only problem I have had is we don’t live close enough to visit more often I could spend every morning watching the ducks that seem to be everywhere Keep up the good work!

This a really nice resort, but I have to give it only 3 stars due to the construction and rough access from exit 115. If you have a towable RV or a Class C, access should not be a problem, other than the rough road. If you are in a 40’+ coach the temporary off ramps are very limiting, particularly if there is any traffic. I discussed this with the office staff and suggested they may want to advise newcomers, but they did not seem interested. Although this is a large resort with lots of amenities don’t expect an overly helpful staff. We will return again and I am hopeful we can rate it 5 stars then.

Family Fun and Traveler Friendly!
Pets are welcome! Park is clean and well maintained lots of great things to do or see if just for a night or just a family getaway! Lots of things to keep the guest Happy large well appointed swimming and recreational area! Also a Dinosaur park and amusement arcade down the street from the park. We always rent a golf cart when we make our reservations! Hint park is extra large and the cart is easier than vehicles transporting grandkids to the arcades and Dinosaur park, it also comes, in handy while evening activities such as live music in bar areas or moving kiddos to the movie area! Love this park.

Used this park for the week. Stayed here while I worked in the Lafayette area. We got a site right next to the fishing pond. Overall the park was very nice. Sites were level and plenty wide, hookups all worked well and the whole place was well kept. A few drawbacks for me was the fact that it was so large, I'm assuming the weekend was probably very busy and not relaxing. I like more nature oriented parks with trees, less sites and a little less action. It seemed to be a party type resort. I did not have a bad experience but just not my cup of tea.

Really Nice Park
We stopped here on the advice of some campers we had met on the road. We have always stayed at another RV park in the area. Wow very large paved parking. Very clean. Nice big shower and restrooms. Looks to be very family oriented in the summer months with pools, mini golf water park. Very nice and professional employees. $35. With good Sam discount. As retired RV park owners, we were impressed! Definitely a place to stay again.
