Great Campground
Beautiful area. Stayed 2 nights. Large, clean, campground, fairly level cemented pads, nicely spaced and shaded, right next to The Kentucky Horse Park, highly recommend both places. We will stay here again.

Beautiful Place
This is the second year that we have camped here, and we love it. I don’t have anything bad to say about this place. It’s a great place to ride your bike or walk over and check out the beautiful horses at the horse park.

Ark & Bourbon
Campground is nice but spaces are not angled. Lots of trees just wish a little more spaced. Big campstore. Has pool in season, tennis courts. Right next to Horse Park. Discount if staying at CG. We visited the Ark Encounter about 30 miles away. Worth the trip. Also sampled some of the bourbon distilleries. Pretty surroundings.

Good Stay
We stayed three nights in the campground. Nice space between each campsite. Lots of trees. We came in after the office was closed but the online site we had picked was ready for us with the last name in big letters. Thanks for that.... We went to the office the next morning and the people in the office/store were very nice and helpful. 30amp water/electric..price was a little high

Gorgeous Large Park
Asphalt slots, widely spaced with lots of grassy area adjacent. Park is clean, shady, and roomy. No dog park, but large expanses of grassy lawn area. No sewer at site, but four dump stations. Same-day reservations are first come first served only, advance reservations are no problem. Would camp here anytime.

Great Spot
Friendly people from the staff to other campers. Very spacious spots, clean, hot showers. Just a great place to spend the night. Will definitely come again.

Awesome Park!
We only stayed for one night, but the park is lovely. Well groomed, lots of space between sites, not to many trees, and LOTS to see right in the park. Make sure you visit the Big Barn! Will stay again for sure!

Holiday Weekend Starts On Thursday?
Told us they had some electric only spots that were first come, first served. Then they told us we would have to stay five nights due to the holiday weekend. Mind you, it is Thursday, not Friday. We only wanted one night. Terrible policy!

Nice Stay
The campsites are very clean and the property is a vast horse farm and arena. If you enjoy the open lands, stay here. It is well worth the visit.

Nice, No Sewer Hookups
This was a nice camp ground with pretty mature trees that created a lot of shade. The trash location and dump station are centrally located for all. Friendly staff and they offer discounts to the Kentucky Horse Park as well as a shuttle service over there.

Large sites, very clean, no noise from I-75. Not all sites are level. Quiet hours observed. Close to several Lexington area attractions. Two large dump stations. Will definitely return.

Its not my cup of tea but its a really nice campground with good amenities. If you like horses you should go.
