Great COE, But
We stayed here for 2 nights in June. Beautiful setting and right on the lake. Can't say enough about the setting and the land between the lakes. But facilities were never cleaned while we were there. At 1 shower/bathroom facilities there were so many dead bugs on the walls and the sinks. Ok I know it is a campground, and I agree and I no issues with being outdoors. But this facility obviously has not been cleaned in weeks. On this trip we have stayed at 3 other COEs and this is the worst for facility cleanliness. I don't know who cleans this volunteers probably, but they are not doing the job required.

Beautiful campground! Roads are narrow, and lots of trees can make backing in a challenge. Water and electric at fisherman loop... easy dump station. Overall, great campground!

It's OK
Like most COE campgrounds, this one is nice with plenty of space between sites. The bathrooms are clean and everything was in working order. The main roads through the park are good. However, the loop roads are tight and in dire need of repairs!!!

Absolutely Lovely
Spur of the moment stop on my way from Missouri home... did not get to choose my site and was absolutely blown away with my assignment... fully shaded, water view, level gravel lot with amenities. Visited by all forms of wildlife during all hours... boat launch and minutes from both lakes... if you have something negative to say about this place, you might as well sell the rv...Absolutely beautiful. Will be making many trips here.

Lovely Campground
Online reservations only. We arrived after hours and had no trouble finding our spot #73. (Only avail for 1 night) Road was steep but we managed to get in ok with our 28’ Airstream. Found a couple spots available for the upcoming night (Thursday) so made another resv for spot #78. After walking around the entire campground we found that there really aren’t many “bad” spots with the exception of a few that have wash out. Canal View loop is all blacktop. Primitive loop is ok for smaller units and/or tents. Fisherman’s row has a few with water views and is a nice loop especially if you have a boat. There are 8 sites in Browns Point that have sewer hookup. ALL sites have water and electric. Group Camping is a nice loop for large Class A’s. All concrete but much like a big parking lot but plenty of space. Shelter and boat dock in this loop. Beach loop would be a great loop for kids as there is a playground and of course the beach. Although no water there now. Great campground for walking.

Not As Nice As I Thought
We stayed In September, reserved a full hook up site. A big mistake...do not reserve site Brown’s Point #92, it’s a hill going down to site and sewer is so far forward most folks can’t hook up to it. If you are able to book sites #94-98 w/e/s, they are fine. When we went to the check in station to ask what other sites with w/e were open for our 4 night stay, they were not forthcoming with information. We had to ask them about specific sites, and since we were never there before we had no idea on the multiple areas. Don’t go to Nash Flats...it’s a parking lot! The beach loop and fisherman’s loop look to have most sites that are not sloped, but note that most sites need more gravel, because it has washed away. I don’t understand why it has not been kept up, since I saw excess new gravel in a storage area. The Canal sites are the best, most have asphalt driveways and are level. Doubt that we would come back here again.

Love This Campground
Living only 40 minutes from this place we enjoy camping here for a week or weekend getaway! I also like how they have pictures of the actual campsites when reserving a spot online. Zero complaints here.

Most Beautiful!
We would have stayed a month if we could have. One of the Most beautiful spots we had been on over 4,000 miles of travel! We were on Site 6 in primitive section (but has water and electric) with an 18’ pull camper. Beware that some of the other sites are quite steep and saw one pull camper attempt two different steep spots with no luck.... Used my national senior pass so very cheap!! We did not bring kayaks but would be great ! Or a canoe... Very quiet and saw deer and beautiful singing birds in the morning..

Nice Corner - But Noisy
Very nice place to stay with everything you’ll need for primitive camping or RV. Except ear plugs - the folks decided to air blow the park roads ALL morning. Could you not pick a Tuesday instead of a Saturday, when folks come out to enjoy the peace of nature?

Loved It
Some sites are hard to level. We loved our stay. The camp hosts are very helpful and friendly. Csmp is kept very clean. There three conveniently located dump sites. Many locals are camping here. That says a lot. We will definitely return. Did not want to leave.

Love COE Campgrounds
Our site was a little tricky backing into and a little unlevel. However, we would definitely stay here again.
